Prior to UCLA Anderson, Marissa worked as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs and as an Investor Relations representative at NYC-based hedge fund Latigo Partners.  Since coming to Anderson, she has interned for Entertainment League Productions, a sports marketing and event production company, creating a growth strategies and market sponsorship packages.  Marissa attended Villanova University where she majored in Finance and International Business. Marissa interned at Mandalay Entertainment this summer, developing marketing strategies for the launch of a new minor league baseball team in Oklahoma City.

VP Alumni Relations - Sreesha Vaman

As VP of Alumni Relations, Sreesha is responsible for engaging with UCLA Anderson alumni currently or previously connected to the sports industry.  Prior to UCLA Anderson, Sreesha spent seven years as a derivatives trader, primarily with Lehman Brothers in London.  Last winter, Sreesha interned for the Ontario Reign, a minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.  Sreesha interned at Harrah's this summer, focusing on casino branding and promotional initiatives.  Sreesha is currently targeting a position in creative sports marketing after graduation.

VP Communications - Mark Depew

Prior to UCLA Anderson, Mark worked for four years at KPMG servicing the structured finance industry.  He was responsible for the creation of financial models for various types of securitization transactions.  Mark is focused on business development in the areas of sponsorship and marketing.  As VP of Communications, he will be responsible for ensuring the SBA is visible among firms and industry leaders as well as disseminating the latest sports business news.  Mark was a varsity swimmer at James Madison University.  Mark interned at Wasserman Media Group this summer and was responsible for market share and competitive analysis of the firm's business units within the various professional sports leagues.

VP Finance - Nanette Yang

Prior to UCLA Anderson, Nanette was a professional poker player based on the east coast. Prior to that, she worked at JPMorgan and a hedge fund in investment management. During her first year at Anderson, Nanette took on an internship with Entertainment League Productions (ELP). At ELP she was part of the Business Development team for the E LEAGUE, a celebrity basketball league for Hollywood insiders.  Nanette attended MIT where she majored in Economics.  Nanette is focusing her studies at Anderson on sports business and entrepreneurship.  She interned this summer with Steele Partners in a consulting role for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

VP Student Development - Andrew Kahn

Before enrolling at UCLA Anderson, Andrew worked for Mandalay Entertainment for five years in Dallas, Texas.  He ran the Sponsorship Sales and Service department for the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers.  Andrew led the RoughRiders to a Minor League Baseball-best $4.5MM in sponsorship sales.  During the Spring of 2010, Andrew interned at Universal Sports Network, where he focused on strategic development for the cable network.  He attended Brandeis University, where he majored in Economics and played four years of Varsity Baseball.  Following Brandeis, Andrew played professionally in Sydney, Australia.  This summer, Andrew worked as an investment analyst for Steel Partners LLC, a NYC-based investment firm.  At Steel, Andrew's research focused on acquisition targets in lifestyle and action sports.

VP Events - John Meyer

Prior to UCLA Anderson, John served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps.  At Anderson, he is focusing his studies on management and operations and plans to pursue a career in the sports industry.  This past summer, John worked on a strategic project for Fox Sports Interactive which focused on making foxsports.com more competitive in the U.S. online sports market.  In his free time, John coaches defensive backs at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California.
